Letter to doctors by Suzanne Das
Dear Doctor,
You are the hero of the present
Scenario. My dreams
come true when I hear a word or two
spoken for
you. Does that sound poetic?
I wish I was a poet penning down lines
on your
service and sacrifice.
If I could had to debate on the topic
‘who
serves the country better- a soldier, a
farmer or a
doctor.’ You know what would I choose
to stand for. One
day I too wish I can walk in your
footsteps and
prove my worth to the world.
Kindly accept my gratitude and regards from my family and
the community of your selfless service.
And on this festival of Raksha Bandhan,
the bond of love between a sister and brother , my solute to you for being
their for us.
Love, do take good care of yourself
too.
